Hello,
I hope someone can look at this and tell me what the problem is. I have
other DNS servers that I'm monitoring, but this one server (and yes,
I've checked the /etc/named and everything else I could think off)
exhibits this error, which as you can see blow, I'm unable to reproduce
manually:
monitor-root:/usr/local/nagios/libexec> ./check_dns -H www.yahoo.com -s
137.145.35.70
DNS CRITICAL - '/usr/sbin/nslookup' output parsing exited with no
address
monitor-root:/usr/local/nagios/libexec>
monitor-root:/usr/local/nagios/libexec> nslookup
Default Server: wedns2.csu.net
Address: 137.145.46.101
> server 137.145.35.70
Default Server: wasp.csuco
Address: 137.145.35.70
> www.yahoo.com
Server: wasp.csuco
Address: 137.145.35.70
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: www.yahoo-ht2.akadns.net
Address: 209.131.36.158
Aliases: www.yahoo.com
> exit
Thank you much!
Dan
