[Nagiosplug-devel] check_http and possible thresholds for DNS lookup timings

Hi,

Following up on a recent thread in Nagios Plugin Help:

I am curious to whether it would be possible to make a separate threshold/performance data report for the DNS part of the check?

In the case of primary name server outage the plugin behavior is currently affected / challenging to control as is

Related: Could it be that there is perhaps an alternative plugin available, which offers this functionality?
