Add commandline -T switch to check_time and check_ntp_time (#1246)

Updating the thanks file was an attempt to get Travis CI to re-examine my
commits. Sadly this doesn't seem to work. I imagine the failed build had
something to do with the Travis CI infrastructure, as the build was killed
after 10 minutes while running tools/setup.
