AW: [Nagiosplug-help] problem with check_ping

Hi!
I found the problem. The /bin/ping binary which comes with SuseLinux8.0
seems to be faulty.I took the /bin/ping of an older System(SuseLinux7.2),
and check_ping was working fine.

(the only problem i've got left is this service problem i described in the
Nagios-User-Mailinglist)

"Cannot open pipe" points to some system limits being reached - you might
want to try and see if you change your ulimits
