[Nagiosplug-help] Problem with nagios nrpe plugin

Hi ,

I'm trying to use nrpe with nagios1.0 to check the disk status on two
remote systems.

For one system everything works fine with no problems , however on a
another system i get connection refused by host.
The configuration is identical  in both machines. However when I run the
check_nrpe plugin manually for the latter host I do get an appropriate
reply.
Why do I get this error on the web page.
The latter has veritas file system with multiple network cards...
