[Nagiosplug-help] check_nt error

refering to an older message 9979388 FROM: Mitchell K. Smith DATE: 10/25/2002 05:06:15 SUBJECT:  [Nagiosplug-help] check_nt error 
> getting CollectData failed 30 seconds after starting NSClient

I get the above error on one W2k-server since a few days, nsclient on this box worked fine for months before. 
20 other servers also work fine and there're none of the common Perflib-errors on this server.
Anybody has at least a glue what might cause this "CollectData failed" error and where to look for to correct it ?
