Please run check_ldap --version and repost.

Subhendu, I think you know the mailing list software better than I. Can
we alter the SF added footer to say that submissions that do not list
the exact version of the plugin will risk being /dev/null'd?
This is ridiculous. I checked the last five bug reports/support requests
in my mail box, and not one provides version number. Not one. It's item
3 in the FAQ, don't people read?
I'm going to create a SUPPORT file, and I will see if I can fit the info
in the stock part of the help output.
To be honest, I'm pretty upset up with this. People are taking my freely
donated time, diverting me from actually improving the plugins, and they
can't be bothered to provide their version number, a task as simple as
running one command? It's adsurd.
Anyway, I'll get over it. But people on the list, PLEASE consider the
value of the support and development you get FOR FREE here. We make
current snapshots available twice a day. The version is trivial to
report. The CVS is freely browsable. If you have the means, check the
snapshots when you have a bug. If you are not that savvy, you will
likely not have an easy time with this (or any) software. But at least
provide the version number
