[Nagiosplug-help] nrpe socket timeouts

has anyone any experience with socket timouts using nrpe?

we re calling a (quite large) Oracle script and w get, every now and then, the message:

***** Nagios 1.0 *****

Notification Type: PROBLEM

Service: NRPE_ORACLE
Host: bil1.babyxl.com
Address: 192.168.4.5
State: CRITICAL

Date/Time: Tue Jul 1 02:42:48 CEST 2003

Additional Info:

CHECK_NRPE: Socket timeout after 10 seconds.
