[Nagiosplug-help] No response to my check_udp problem?

I haven't heard anything from anyone on what the solution to my
check_udp problem is.  I even opened a bug (#731467) and didn't get
anything there either.  Should I assume that no one else is having this
problem or no one actually uses check_udp?

I just noticed (by accident) that the check_tcp version of check_udp
returns an exit value of 0 no matter what host or port you check.  It's
always UDP OK with a response time of 0.000 seconds.  I've tried it on
1.3.0 and the latest CVS version.   Any ideas what's going on?
