[Nagiosplug-help] problem using nrpe

Look carefully at your /etc/xinetd.d/nrpe
The line: server = /usr/sbin/check_nrpe
should probably be: server = /usr/sbin/nrpe
Look at the /var/log/messages on the Nagios server.
You should see some indication that nrpe didn't start.

Did you try to run "telnet YourNRPEServer 5666" just to know if your
NRPE Server allow you to run such command ?
I've installed NRPE on a LiNUX RH 7.3 box and follow the documentation,
and all were fine.
