[Nagiosplug-help] Nagios and event handler!!

Hi,

I'm wondering whether we can change the behavour of Nagios to controll event
handler. I do know that if event handler is enabled for a  host/service
check, Nagios always checks event handler command after every host/service
checks(as Nagios document says). But,for me,I only want Nagios to check
event handler only if it is necessary to do so.
