Hi
I'm having an intermittent problem with NRPE. I have NRPE 2 and Nagios
plugins 1.4 alpha1 installed on a RH9 box. The server is very heavily
trafficed by search engines, and the load is near constantly at 15+.
I have this same setup on about 10 other machines, and all of them run
fine, without this problem
NRPE is running with --daemon and is queried by Nagios 1.1 running on a
different server.
The problem is that syslog on this heavy load machine is giving the
following errors:
---------------------
Mar 13 06:07:09 ribbon nrpe[7994]: Error: Could not complete SSL
handshake. 5
Mar 13 06:07:09 ribbon nrpe[8025]: Error: Could not complete SSL

Mar 13 08:30:12 ribbon nrpe[26497]: INFO: SSL Socket Shutdown.
---------------------
Nagios is checking this machine every 3 or 4 minutes, so this is not
happening on every check, and also, if I "su - nagios" and run a
command, I do not get this error. When the errors are logged above,
Nagios checks fail, as NRPE timed out after 30 seconds
Anybody any suggestions?
