[Nagiosplug-help] configuration failed for NRPE!

Hi, everyone.

Has anybody successfully cross-compiled nrpe for mips?

I's set up cross-compiling environment on x86 machine. When I ran
"CC=/usr/mipsel-linux/bin/gcc ./configure"  it ended up with the
message[configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling].
Dose anyone have any idea?
