[Nagiosplug-help] sentence matching in check_file

hello all,

i want to match a sentence from a file using check_file 

the check_file syntax checks only for patterns using -r, -e or -i , 

i want to check a sentence for error like example "The connection
attempt failed because: No route to host" in a log file,
how can i do this, do i need to modify the code, or ????
