[Nagiosplug-help] Check_proc on Solaris 9 through NRPE

I have compiled the 1.4.7 version of check_procs program on Solaris 9
with --with-ps_command="/usr/ucb/ps -auxw". This seems to get it to
correctly identify processes identified by long commands, like "ns-slapd
-D /opt/... -I /opt/...".
I have two Sparc Solaris 9 systems, one is the Nagios Server, and the
other one reports via NRPE.
The Nagios Server runs check_procs correctly.
The second system has NRPE running on it, and returns check_disk,
check_load and check_users results to Nagios without any problems.
However, check_procs returns "NRPE: Unable to read output". Check_procs
runs fine when run by the command prompt.
Permissions on /home/nagios, and /home/nagios/libexec are all 755. All
check_ scripts have the same permissions of 755.
Check_procs is the only check script that returns this error.
NRPE is running as an inetd process...
I am stumped. Any ideas?
