[Nagiosplug-help] Plugin Error

While trying to install plugins 1.4.6 on Debian 3.1 I am getting the following error during "make install"

@MKINSTALLDIRS@: @MKINSTALLDIRS@: No such file or directory

make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
