well... wierd.
i WAS going to just say "yup". because I did. really.
But the "good sysadmin" in me, said to go through the motions one more time.
and... it worked, from both test x86 box, and official sparc box.
Although one OTHER thing I changed, was to change the "test x86 server" box
as well.
So, there might be something "off" with that box, to boot.
it really really looked like it was using SSL before. but, now -n seems to work.
Which kinda begs the question: It clearly is linked with ssl... the --help
output acknowleges,
"SSL/TLS Available: Anonymous DH Mode, OpenSSL 0.9.6 or higher required"
sooo... how do I enable it then??
it seems like it gets somehow automatically enabled on the sparc boxes.
I dont see any magical "enable ssl" in the nrpe.cfg it is using.
I am using pretty much the identical config on the x86 boxes.... so... how
come no SSL there on the nrpe demon side??
