Hi all:
Working with Nagios 2.9 and plugins 1.4.9 on a RHEL4 system.
I have a check_procs monitor looking for specific application processes
and alerts if one or more of the application processes begins to consume
over 50% CPU.
check_procs -m CPU -P 50 -w 50 -c 50 -C f60webmx
So I get an alert when such a process (or processes) is found.
CPU CRITICAL: 1 crit, 0 warn out of 1 processes with PCPU >= 50.00,
command name 'f60webmx'
There can be more than 1 f60webmx process being a CPU hog.
The question is, when the plugin finds an offender(s) how can I get the
respective PID as well?
Thanks
Rick Garland
