That's a Gnulib bug... I'm sorry I didn't have much time to work this
out yet... Since my repo mirror is back up I'll point my test snapshot
script to it, update gnulib in a branch and we'll start from here. If
the Gnulib update doesn't help we can report it to their mailing list.

I'll reply as soon as I have a snapshot ready for you to try out.
