That was not my question.
i know the location but have no idea how to implement this in our config file.
Perhaps you have an example config file for us?

The nagios.cfg file should contain references to specific paths and the locations of Config files you want processed and included in your environment. You can create your own entries which point to specific Config files by starting the line with cfg_file= or you can process all config files in a given directory by using cfg_dir= . Either/both of those would be followed by the path specific to your system.
A couple lines from a default Nagios install are as follows:
cfg_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg
cfg_dir=/usr/local/nagios/etc/servers
