These two plugins have nothing in common, and afaik check_disk should
work fine with negative numbers.
In the past however we've had bugs in the underlying library that
provides the data to check_disk. would you mind trying with the latest
version (1.4.15) and if you still encounter the bug, with the debug
output (-vvv) added?
The same could be done with check_disk_smb if it fails, although I don't
even know if it will print useful data for debugging...
