[Nagiosplug-help] check-http Timed Out

Hello everyone,
 
I have a nagios machine monitoring about 60 web sites. The check-http plugin checks for specific string for every web site to make sure that each web is up and running. Periodically I recieve a notification to my email that host is DOWN with info: (Host Check Timed Out).
 
The timeout of the check-http command is now set for 5 minutes.
 
Any ideas ?
