You could make the change to each host or service definition. However, the better way to do this is to create/modify a host and/or service template(s) to have those values and use those templates in the host/service defintion.

Subject: [Nagiosplug-help] Notifications bye email
Hi everyone, I was seting the notifications bye email, I have a little
question:
I am monitoring 48 services (divided in 8 hosts), so do I need to add
the following lines to each service definition?:
notification_interval 10
notification_options w,u,c,r,f
check_period 24x7
notification_interval 10
notification_period 24x7
contact_groups localadmins
The question is:
Is it possible to tell nagios to notifies my on every event from any
host in a shorter way ?
bye! Thanks.
