[Nagiosplug-help] check_ldap - problem with passwords containing special caracters

Hi all,

I installed the latest version of the check_ldap plugin and I manage to
monitor some servers... but fail when there are special caracters like >
in it.

I tried with quotes, double quotes, with backslash... but couldn't make
it. The same request with a normal ldapsearch works fine with quotes and
double quotes so I suspect a bug?

Anyone can give me a hint? I'm not a developer so maybe I misunderstand
something here.
