[Nagiosplug-help] nrpe check of remote host runs manually, but not when scheduled by Core 3.0.3 server

Tony at Nagios Corp suggested I raise debug_level to -1 in nagios.cfg and look for the exact commands being issued.

I couldn't find the IP address of the remote host, so looked for the nrpe check command, and found a strange IP address.

Turns out the remote hosts in question live behind our F5 load balancers.  When I issue the check_nrpe command manually, the nslookup finds the correct IP of the remote host.  But the Nagios Server must be caching the outside address of the F5's.

Not sure what to do about this, but it explains why the manual check worked but the scheduled check didn't.
