[Nagiosplug-help] Is it possible to check IMAP SSL certificate over port 143 (TLS)

I use a Courier IMAP server on port 143, where I use TLS with 
SSL certificate.

I was unable to use the check_imap plugin to check the 
certificate validity (option -D). It seems that the option works 
only on port 993 and option -S enabled.

Do I miss something?
