[Nagiosplug-help] RPM Packaging

I am trying to build the tarball as an RPM on Cent5 and am running into the
issue of it not installing check_dhcp and check_icmp.  I have read through
the documentation and understand about the install-root ability and I can
get the software to build just fine from source but I don't want to build
this into an RPM as root.  Is there a better/eaiser way to do this other
than modifying the spec file and if this is the only way does anyone
already have a hacked up spec file?
