Usage of check_udp plugin

Hello,

Would like to inquire example of how to use this specific plugin.

I used this command and nothing happened,

./check_udp -H <hostname> -p 1812

I want to monitor if port 1812 from Network Policy Server is listening,
what should be the strings or settings that must be used in the argument of
this command. Thank you
