check_dns - check multiple addresses

Is there a way to have "check_dns" check multiple addresses/names in a 
single request?

Also, appears that "check_dns" only issues a warning if a name doesn't 
resolve. Is there a flag to have lookup failures report as critical?

If not, how can I request this as a future enhancement?
