<div>Can any one tell me if it is possible to connect the Nagios Server to an IVR System. For Example an IVR is running in the server room, the caller decides to query the Nagios server for particular information on a web server, so can the Nagios respond to such a query.

<div>Really even I don't know what I am looking for but generally speaking is there a CLI for Nagios which can be queried by other applications. When saying about CLI i don't exactly need the way the plugins are executed coz tht won't be much of a help. I need to know if there is a complete CLI where commands can be run directly and output be sought on a text file or something.
