<p class="MsoNormal">I’m trying to monitor a very simple locally hosted website via check_http.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">For simplicity during testing I am attempting to monitor it from the standard linux agent on one of our CheckMK servers.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I have included my settings on the attached screenshot, but these are the pertinent details.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Service Name: Test Website <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Hosts name / IP address: testsite.xxx.yyy.zz<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I don’t really understand why it is failing, but more interesting is that it works on the CheclMk server itself (which is where the agent doing the monitoring is defined).<o:p></o:p></p>
